Once again we have been slack and it’s been a big gap between movie nights. So for those of you missing being at UX Australia, and for those of you who didn’t make it, we have put something together for this Monday, September 5!
AIGA Seattle held the IXD Bauhaus in May this year: From physical metaphors to content-driven experiences, the look & feel of the user interface is changing. Join us for a night of discussion and debate on chromelessness, typography, reduction, infographics & skeumorphism.
One of four speakers was Jon Bell formerly of Frog, but now working on the Metro interface for Windows Phone at Microsoft. Jon talks passionately about relevance in design and what inspired him to join the Windows Phone team.
When is it?
Monday, 5 September 2011.
Come down to the bar when you finish work, we’ll roll the film at 6:30 PM.
Where is it?
How much does it cost?
Nothing, it’s absolutely free. (Just turn up and buy something from the bar to thank them for their support of UX Melbourne.)
Tell us you’re coming
Tell us you’re coming by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org – it helps us heaps if you do.
And then tell your Twitter followers that you are coming…
I’m going to the next Melbourne UX Movie Night.
