Melbourne Knowledge Week is 14−20 November and UX Movie Night is rolling out the red carpet to welcome everyone to town.
For knowledge week we are looking at two different videos:
The first is a glimpse at what Apple (in 1987) imagined the future might look like through their Future Shock video – a mobile device that looks like a cross between an Apple II and an iPad.
The second video is the Eames’ 1968 documentary Powers of Ten. This film explores the relative scale of man to the whole universe, zooming all the way in to the atoms inside a human DNA strand.
When is it?
Monday, 15 November 2010.
Come down from 5:30 / 6:00 PM, we’ll roll the film at 6:30 PM.
Where is it?
How much does it cost?
Nothing, it’s absolutely free. (Just turn up and buy something from the bar to thank them for their support of UX Melbourne.)
